Pratik Shrivastava is a sarod player of the Maihar gharana, initiated at age six by his grandfather Pandit Rabi Chakraborty and nurtured under his uncle Dr. Rajeeb Chakraborty. A multiple national-award winner, he has been performing solo Hindustani classical recitals internationally since 2000 and is known for crystal clear taans and superb layakari.
