Privacy Policy

When you sign up for our email. Your email address, and anything you choose to add: your city or region, your interests, and your location, as shared by your browser, so we can show nearby concerts.

When you create an account. Your email address (we sign you in with a one-time link, so we hold no password for you), any profile answers you give us, such as your location and interests, and the artists you follow or concerts you save.

When you tell us which organizer features you would use. Your email and your answers, so we can let you know when those features are ready.

When you claim a page. Your account, the page you are claiming, and how you showed us that you represent the artist or organization.

When you email us. Your message and address.

When we list your organization or profile. We may keep a public contact email address taken from your website or social media page, and use it to tell you that you are listed and to ask about your events. Each of those emails has an unsubscribe link. The About page explains where the rest of a listing's information comes from and how to correct or remove any information/page.

When you browse. We use an analytics service to understand which pages people use. It records pages viewed, links clicked, your IP address, and general device and browser information, and keeps an identifier in your browser's local storage. Until you sign in or subscribe, this is not tied to your name or email. After that, your activity on the site is linked to your email address. This data is stored in the United States.

We may record how visitors move through pages (scrolls, clicks), with typed text hidden, to find problems with the site. Any recordings are kept at most for 30 days.

When you use “Near me”. Your browser asks your permission first. The location is used only to sort concerts by distance.

The free Chrome extension, SangeetCentral: Concerts Near You, stores the location you choose (a zip, city, or state) only on your device. If you opt in, your coordinates are sent to sangeetcentral.com only to find nearby concerts and are not stored. The extension does not collect browsing history. No data from the extension is sold.

To send the emails you asked for, support your account, verify claims, answer your messages, improve the site, and keep everything secure. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use personal information for third-party advertising.

We use service providers to host the site, store data, send email, show maps, and measure traffic. They handle personal information only to provide those services to us.

When you follow a link to a store, a ticketing site, or an organization's website, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Your browser may send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. We do not sell data, and we do not currently change what we collect in response to those signals. Our analytics provider does not track you across other websites for us.

• Every newsletter and outreach email has an unsubscribe link. One click on that page and you are off the list. Sign-in links and replies to your own messages are not marketing and do not have one.
• You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@sangeetcentral.com.
• You can turn off location sharing in your browser at any time.

We keep subscriber and account information while you are subscribed or have an account. We can initiate a deletion process upon request.

We use HTTPS and limit who can access our database. No site is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything sensitive by email.

SangeetCentral is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents can email hello@sangeetcentral.com to ask what we hold and have it removed.
