About
About SangeetCentral
SangeetCentral is an independent directory of Indian classical music in the United States: concerts, artists, and the organizations that present and teach the music. Our goal is simple. Anyone who wants to hear a live Hindustani or Carnatic performance should be able to find one near them.
SangeetCentral is not affiliated with any venue, organization, artist, or ticket seller.
How listings work
Where the information comes from. We build listings from public sources: organizations' own websites, their public social media pages, event calendars and ticketing pages, and public reference sources such as Wikipedia.
What a listing means. A listing is not an endorsement, partnership, or official association. A basic listing is free. Unless a page shows a Verified badge, the organization or artist did not write, edit or review the page.
Logos and photos. Logos and photos are shown to identify an organization or artist, and they belong to their owners. We will change or remove either upon request.
Is this your organization or profile?
If you'd like any changes, including removal, please let us know.
To ask for a change: email hello@sangeetcentral.com with the page link and what you'd like changed or removed.
To claim your page: use the Claim button on it (“Claim This Page”, “Claim Profile” or “Manage This Venue”). The simplest way to verify is to email us from your organization's domain or message us from your official Instagram account. If another method works better for you, email us. Once we verify you, you can edit the details and add concerts yourself.
