Damaru - Duality: A Bharatanatyam presentation by Vidhya Subramanian and Sparsha Dance Ensemble

"Damaru - Duality" is the first ensemble production by Sparsha Dance Ensemble, conceived and choreographed by Bharatanatyam artist Vidhya Subramanian. Drawing on the symbolic power of the damaru, the eight-member company traces the constant flow between Purusha and Prakriti - stillness and motion, creation and dissolution - set to an original score produced at Resound India, Chennai. South India Fine Arts presents the work at the Dublin High School Performing Arts Center in Dublin, California on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 4:30 PM.
