View ProfileShounak Abhisheki is a Hindustani classical vocalist and composer, the son and disciple of the late Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki. His khayal blends the Agra and Jaipur styles, following early training under Smt. Kamal (Kamaltai) Tambe of the Jaipur gharana. Alongside khayal he sings semi-classical and devotional music, and tours thematic programmes such as Swarabhishek, Tulsi Ke Ram and Kabir built on his father's compositions.

A Diwali tribute to the legacy of the late Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki, whose compositions reshaped Hindustani classical music and Marathi natya sangeet. Vocalist Shounak Abhisheki performs alongside Abhed Abhisheki and Makarand Hingne, presenting his best-known compositions, devotional works, natya sangeet and classical pieces. The program runs about 160 minutes including an intermission.
