About this concert
A Carnatic duo-jugalbandi featuring flute virtuoso Shashank Subramanyam and vocalist Abhishek Raghuram. Shashank, a child prodigy who mastered all 72 Melakarta ragas by age two-and-a-half, is an internationally acclaimed flautist honored with France's Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. Paired with Abhishek Raghuram's powerful vocals, this promises to be a compelling dialogue between flute and voice. Presented by South Indian Fine Arts Academy (SIFAA) in Apex, NC. Free for SIFAA members.
