Samir Chatterjee is a virtuoso tabla player of the Farrukhabad gharana and the Founder-Director of Chhandayan, an organisation dedicated to promoting Indian music and culture. A faculty member at the Manhattan School of Music, he has accompanied legends including Pt. Ravi Shankar, Ud. Vilayat Khan, and Pt. Bhimsen Joshi.

THIS WILL BE THE INAUGURAL CONCERT IN CHHANDAYAN'S NEW SPACE IN NEW YORK CITY. Come celebrate the opening of the new Chhandayan Center for Indian Music with a performance by our founder Samir Chatterjee. The concert will be followed by an exclusive lunch at the venue for Donors contributing towards the sustenance of the space. The performance will also be streamed live.
