Samir Chatterjee is a virtuoso tabla player of the Farrukhabad gharana and the Founder-Director of Chhandayan, an organisation dedicated to promoting Indian music and culture. A faculty member at the Manhattan School of Music, he has accompanied legends including Pt. Ravi Shankar, Ud. Vilayat Khan, and Pt. Bhimsen Joshi.
