View ProfileIndradeep Ghosh is a Hindustani violinist of the Maihar Gharana and one of India's premier classical violinists. Born in Kolkata, he began training at age six and studied under Sisirkana Dhar Chowdhury since 1991, with additional guidance from Pandit V.G. Jog and Pandit Kumar Bose. He plays a custom five-string violin with eight sympathetic strings.
