Ganesh and Kumaresh are revolutionary Carnatic violinists who transformed the instrument's role in South Indian classical music. Born in Kanpur (1964, 1967), they began training at ages 3 and 2 under their father T.S. Rajagopalan. Winners of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (2018), they are recognized as modern contemporary artists in "Sastriya Sangitam."
