Prabha Atre

Prabha Atre was a celebrated Indian classical vocalist from the Kirana gharana, known for her scholarly approach to music and for popularizing Indian classical music globally. A versatile artist with command over various genres like Khyal, Thumri, and Ghazal, she was also a composer, author, and guru. She is one of the rare artists to have been honored with all three Padma awards by the Government of India.
