Mayuri Vasan

Mayuri Vasan is an Indian-American vocalist proficient in both Carnatic and Western classical music. She began her Carnatic training at the age of six under Smt. Padma Kutty and is currently a disciple of the esteemed Sri Delhi P. Sunder Rajan. To further her training, she has also learned from renowned gurus such as Smt. S. Sowmya, Smt. Suguna Purushottaman, Smt. Suguna Varadachari, and Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan during her frequent visits to Chennai, India.

As a versatile artist, Mayuri has performed extensively in both the United States and India. She is a regular performer during the Chennai winter music festival, having sung at prestigious venues including Narada Gana Sabha and Krishna Gana Sabha. In the US, she has given concerts across the country and has been featured in productions such as Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi. Her vocal talents have also been featured in session work for Disney's Epcot Center show 'Harmonious' and Marvel's TV show 'Ms. Marvel'.

Mayuri holds a Master of Music in Opera Performance from the University of Miami. Based in Los Angeles, she is a staff singer and soloist with the Long Beach Camerata Singers and the Catalyst Chamber Ensemble, and also sings with the Pacific Chorale and Tonality. She is actively involved in music education through the Camerata Children's Music Academy and continues to explore new ventures that bridge her diverse musical backgrounds.
