Biography
Jnan Prakash Ghosh (1909-1997) was an Indian tabla player and harmonium player from the Farrukhabad gharana. A renowned guru, he taught many musicians including Ajoy Chakrabarty and Anindo Chatterjee. He received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship in 1974 and the Padma Bhushan in 1984.
