Sugato Nag is one of the foremost surbahar players in the world, carrying forward the rare tradition of the Shahjahanpur Gharana. Trained under his father Pandit Manilal Nag, he is equally accomplished on the sitar. His deep, meditative surbahar recitals have been featured at festivals across India and internationally.
