Padma Bhushan Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty is a legendary Hindustani classical vocalist and leading exponent of the Patiala-Kasur gharana. He trained under Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh and Ustad Munawar Ali Khan. Founder of Shrutinandan music school, he became the first scholar of ITC Sangeet Research Academy in 1978 and now serves as one of its youngest gurus.

An evening of soul-stirring Hindustani classical music featuring the legendary Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, one of the foremost vocalists of the Patiala-Kasur gharana and a Padma Bhushan awardee. Renowned for his rich voice, intricate taans, and emotive renditions, Pandit Chakrabarty will perform Khayal, Thumri, and Bhajan in this special concert presented by Trinayani USA.
