Sitar maestro Niladri Kumaar performs selections from his album "Space Between the Notes," a live recording of him in concert in Mumbai with the late Zakir Hussain. The program blends centuries-old Indian classical tradition with modern innovation.
This stop is part of Cincinnati Arts Association's CAA Presents! 2026-27 season. Satyajit Talwalkar plays tabla, Sambit Chatterjee drums and Agnelo Fernandes keyboards. Alongside sitar, Kumar performs on the zitar, a five-string electric instrument he invented. The show runs about 90 minutes and is recommended for ages 15 and up.
