Kunal Gunjal is a santoor player and direct disciple of the legendary Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, with whom he performed on stage. He has received the Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande Yuva Kalakar Puraskar, a National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, the Sawai Gandharva Scholarship, and a Global Music Award.
