A Carnatic jugalbandi featuring violinist Charumathi Raghuraman and mridangam artist Anantha Krishnan. Charumathi, a disciple of the legendary T.N. Krishnan and an AIR A-graded artist, is celebrated for her virtuosic technique and multiple Best Violinist awards from the Madras Music Academy. Her husband Anantha Krishnan, grandson of the late Palghat Raghu, joins her on mridangam. Presented by SRUTI, the India Music and Dance Society of Philadelphia. Free with advanced registration.
