Alam Khan is a two-time Grammy-nominated sarod maestro and Khalifa of the Seni Maihar Gharana. Son of the legendary Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, he trained under his father from age seven and is Head of Indian Classical Instrumental Studies at the Ali Akbar College of Music in San Rafael, California.
