Umakant and Ramakant Gundecha are celebrated Hindustani dhrupad vocalists of the Dagar vani tradition, trained under Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar at the Dhrupad Kendra in Bhopal. Recipients of the Padma Shri in 2012, they performed across 25+ countries and founded the Gurukul Dhrupad Sansthan to preserve the guru-shishya tradition.
