Biography

Pandit Suresh Talwalkar is a Hindustani tabla maestro born in 1948 in Mumbai, known for synthesizing multiple gharanas including Farrukhabad, Delhi, and Lucknow. A disciple of his father Dattatray Talwalkar and Pandharinath Nageshkar, he earned the epithet "Taalyogi." He received the Padma Shri (2013).
