Supriyo Dutta

Supriyo Dutta is a Hindustani classical vocalist known for khayal, thumri/dadra, and bhajan, and he also works as a composer. He trained under Pandit Ramkrishna Basu of the Indore gharana, Padmashri Pandit Vijay Kumar Kichlu, and Vidushi Subhra Guha, and continues advanced study with Padmabhushan Pandit Arvind Parikh. A former National Scholar under India's Ministry of Culture and an ICCR-empanelled artist, he has performed across India, Europe, Australia, China, and the United States, and teaches classical music.
