Biography
Suguna Purushothaman (1941-2015) was a distinguished Carnatic vocalist, composer, and teacher, renowned for her mastery over complex pallavis, earning her the title "Pallavi Suguna." A recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2010, she was a torchbearer of the Musiri Subramania Iyer tradition and a respected guru to many notable musicians.
