Smt. Padmini Rao is a seasoned Hindustani vocalist of the Kirana Gharana with over 40 years of performing experience. She trained under Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Khan Dagar for voice culture and Dr. Prabha Atre in Kirana Gharana gayaki. An ICCR empanelled artiste, she is acknowledged as one of the most gifted voices of the Kirana tradition.
