Biography

R. K. Srikantan was a highly respected Carnatic vocalist from Karnataka, India, known for his pure and traditional style of singing. He was a recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Sangeetha Kalanidhi from the Madras Music Academy and the Padma Bhushan from the Government of India. A dedicated teacher, he has trained many disciples and left a lasting legacy in the world of Carnatic music.
