Palani Subramania Pillai (1909–1962) was a renowned Carnatic percussionist, revered as one of the "Holy Trinity of Mridanga" alongside Palghat Mani Iyer and Ramanathapuram C.S. Murugabhoopathy. A disciple of his father Palani Muthaiah Pillai, he mastered the mridangam and kanjira, and his most celebrated student was Trichy Sankaran.
