Biography

N. Ramani was a renowned Indian Carnatic flautist, credited with introducing the long bass flute to Carnatic music. A recipient of the prestigious Sangeetha Kalanidhi and Padma Shri awards, he was a disciple of the legendary T. R. Mahalingam and trained over 100 disciples in his Ramani Academy of Flute.
