Mysore Manjunath

Mysore Manjunath is an Indian Carnatic violinist who began performing at age eight as a child prodigy. He completed his Master of Music at the University of Mysore, earning first rank with four gold medals, and went on to receive a Ph.D. from the same university. He performs regularly as one half of the Mysore Brothers duo with his elder brother Mysore Nagaraj, having appeared at prestigious international venues including Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, and Oxford University. Beyond performance, he has composed new ragas and led collaborative works such as the Yoga Anthem and Life Again, which featured international musicians during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is a recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award from the Government of India, the Rajyotsava Award from Karnataka, and the Chowdiah National Award, among other honors.
