
Kunnakudi M. Balamuralikrishna is a popular Carnatic classical vocalist from a family deeply rooted in South Indian classical music. A relative of the late violin maestro Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan, his paternal grandfather Ramanatha Sastri was a musician who performed on All India Radio from Tiruchi, and his father Meenakshisundaram is also a musician. Balamuralikrishna specializes in devotional songs, Haridasa keertanas, and traditional Carnatic compositions. He has performed at major Carnatic music festivals and concerts across India and internationally, including performances in the United States.
