Jayashree Aravind

Jayashree Aravind, an accomplished player of the Veena is a disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi. Shri. K.S.Narayanaswamy. She has also trained with eminent Vidwans like Smt. T. Brinda and Palghat Shri. K. V. Narayanaswamy. Over the years she has widened her repertoire to include several compositions of Muttuswami Dikshithar, Subbaraya Sastri, Ramanathapuram Sreenivasa Iyengar and other composers. Since 2008, Jayashree has been associated with Isha Samskriti, an educational wing of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev She is a also Grade A artiste of All India Radio. Jayashree has performed extensively in the country and abroad. She was adjudged Best Veena artiste by both Music Academy and Indian Fine Arts society for the concerts she performed there.
