Biography

Gajananrao Joshi (1911–1987), also known as Gajananbuwa Joshi, was a Hindustani vocalist and violinist who synthesized the Gwalior, Jaipur-Atrauli, and Agra gharana styles. A disciple of his father Anant Manohar Joshi and Vazebuwa of Gwalior, he trained noted students including Veena Sahasrabuddhe and Arun Kashalkar.
