Biography

Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar was a highly acclaimed Carnatic vocalist from Kerala, India, known for his powerful voice and majestic singing style. A recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Sangeetha Kalanidhi and Padma Bhushan, he was also a dedicated guru who mentored many famous musicians. His legacy continues through the annual Chembai Sangeetholsavam music festival held in his honor.
