Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar (1896–1974) was a legendary Carnatic vocalist from Kerala, renowned for his powerful voice and majestic style. A Sangeetha Kalanidhi and Padma Bhushan recipient, he trained from age three under his father Anantha Bhagavatar and became one of the 20th century's most celebrated classical singers.
