Biography

K. Bharat Sundar (born August 30, 1988) is an Indian Carnatic vocalist from Chennai. He began learning Carnatic music at age 6 from Smt. Gayathri Mahesh, then trained for over ten years under Vidushi Leelavathi Gopalakrishnan and her son Sri G. Srikanth. He received advanced training in pallavi singing from Sri J. Venkatraman and Sri Srimushnam V. Raja Rao, and has also learned from P.S. Narayanaswamy and S. Sowmya. A gold medalist in M.Music from the University of Madras, he won Jaya TV's first Carnatic Music Idol and was awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for 2020. He has performed at the Madras Music Academy annual concerts and major sabhas across India.
