Biography

Balakrishnabuwa Ichalkaranjikar was born in Bedag, Maharashtra, in 1849. He was a vocalist associated with the Gwalior khayāl style in Maharashtra. He studied under Vasudeorao Joshi in Gwalior. He was the guru of Vishnu Digambar Paluskar. He died in Miraj, Maharashtra, in 1926.
