Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande (born October 7, 1960, Mumbai) is a leading Hindustani classical vocalist of the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana. She began formal musical training at age five under Pandit Narayanrao Datar. Her primary immersion into the Jaipur-Atrauli tradition came through intensive training under her mother and guru Smt. Manik Bhide, an exponent who herself studied under Kishori Amonkar. A PhD in Biochemistry from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre/University of Mumbai, she chose music as her vocation. She has authored two books of self-composed bandishes: "Ragarachananjali" (2004) and "Ragarachananjali 2" (2010). She received the Padma Shri in 2025 and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for her contributions to Hindustani classical music.
