
Apoorva Ravindran is a Carnatic classical vocalist and violinist, performing as one half of the acclaimed sister duo Anahita & Apoorva. An AIR 'A' Grade artist in both vocal and violin, she debuted at age 8 and has since become one of the most sought-after young artists in Carnatic music. She received her initial training under Smt. Shanti Jayaraman and currently studies advanced techniques under maestro Sangeet Samrat Chitravina N. Ravikiran. She has also studied intricate tala theories and ragam-tanam-pallavi under Acharya Ratnakara Chitravina Shri Narasimhan. Her awards include the Golden Voice award (Tanishq Swarna Sangeetham, Raj TV), Super Singer Award (Muttuswamy Dikshitar Trust), MS Subbulakshmi Fellowship (Shanmukhananda Sabha, Mumbai), and a Government of India Scholarship. She holds titles including Yuva Purandara, Shanmukha Shiromani, and Sangeetha Mudhra. She performs globally at prestigious festivals including Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and is a passionate guru training students worldwide.
