Award-winning Carnatic vocalist Abhishek Raghuram performed at The Met in 2017 for a program deeply rooted in the traditions of southern Indian classical music. Trained by masters on both sides of his musical family, Raghuram's sonorous voice presented a colorful complement to the exhibition Modernism on the Ganges: Raghubir Singh Photographs, a celebration of the famed Indian photographer.
