Biography
Ustad Abdul Wahid Khan (1871-1949) was a prominent Indian classical singer and a co-founder of the Kirana gharana. He was known for his devotional and introspective style of singing, and for extending the duration of raga performances. A recluse by nature, he left behind only a few rare recordings but a rich legacy through his many notable disciples.
